FootSouls Creator Giving Back in a Big Way

FootSouls are insoles that are designed specifically for Converse Chuck Taylor All Stars, Vans, and similar profile shoes (think PF Flyers, etc).

Feel Your Soul was started by young entrepreneur Jacob Zander. At the age of 22, after receiving a $10,000 business grant, Jacob produced his flagship product, FootSouls.

After the launch of FootSouls, Feel Your Soul gained tremendous traction on TikTok, where, against all odds, Jacob’s company has grown during the global pandemic. Since May of 2020, Feel Your Soul has amassed 360K followers, and 25 Million views, translating into over 10,000 orders of the product, plus expansion of the brand into a full clothing line, Converse Roller skates, and other cool products.

Now, through Feel Your Soul’s new Smile Fund initiative, Jacob is giving back in a big way.

The Canvas Experiment by Mitch the Drummer

Approximately 20 shoes wide and 24 shoes wide, the Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Canvas experiment puts on quite a show. The video brought home a Silver Design Lion, a Silver Promo Lion, and a Bronze Cyber Lion at Cannes Inernational Fesitval of Creativity 2011. The Canvas Experiment was created by Perfect Fools in Europe.

Buying Chuck Taylor Shoes on Zappos.com

Ever heard of Zappos.com? Zappos.com is a shoe and apparel website that was recently acquired by Amazon. However, their business structure is still operating as a separate entity from Amazon.com. Zappos is all about customer service and for each and every pair of shoes they sell online they have a video describing colors, look and feel, and sometimes a bit of culture about the shoe as well.

What’s different about Zappos is that you can order a pair of shoes, try them on, and send them back if you don’t like them – Zappos will cover all shipping costs. It’s a nice touch to the struggles of online shopping – especially for shoes.

Cheer Up and Walk On

This week is usually a difficult one for those without a significant other. It’s often spent at the bottom of a bottle or in the dark confines of ones own room. That’s no way to live. So for all you single people out there; I hope you can make this week a good one by doing what makes you happy. Wear your chucks with pride this week and do whatever the F$#% you want because your life is what you make it, not what you are told to make it.

All Star Films

Now here’s a place where they have a whole list of movies featuring our favorite footwear on either the lead or supporting actors. The one to five star rating is replaced with chuck icons, and every movie is rated accordingly. The webmaster sometimes indulges these movies further with a description of the best “Chuck” scenes. Which parts had best visuals of the ergonomical shoe. A must indulgence. You can see Ice cube gleaming his beauts in Anaconda, Jason James Richter soaring in his chucks in Neverending Story III,  and every kid in the Outsiders conduct teenage animosity wearing the ultimate cultural icon. The list is just daunting in its length, which perhaps points us to one of the reasons why converse is entrenched in our society. While media may try to push many a thing we don’t always swallow, the fact is they have a widespread influence. Was it first the media, or were they merely trying to catch the wave of madness already spreading about the standard sneaker. We at Chuckverse keep trying to dig for that fundamental reason of Chuck Taylor’s unabated attraction from all walks of life. The utter magnetism of such a simple idea has captured our curiosity. Until we figure that out enjoy great Agent Cody Banks climb a wall, with the standard wall-climbing footwear.
