So, here’s the deal. My chucks started getting the kind of dirty that you don’t want to get (smelly) and summer is coming up. I threw my Chucks in the laundry machine and my roommate starts freakin’ out. He says “That’s counter productive”. He things that Chucks should be worn dirty, which I agree, but sometimes you need to perform some maintenance. Whether it’s ironing your shoe laces or giving your shoes the occasional wash. It’s a necessity.

Converse has put out a little piece of their history on the internet. The Converse Archive includes a collection of shoes they have stored over the years since the companies founding in 1908! They even have the first pair of All Stars.
